Youth
Announcement
Graduation season is upon us once again! As is the tradition at Royal Lane, we plan to celebrate our graduates through scholarships and recognition of their accomplishments. Scholarships are provided through the Bruce and Anna Marie Lowe Scholarship Fund. The amount given to each graduate is based on the gifts from the congregation each year. Youth and Graduate Recognition Sunday is May 3rd. We will honor and recognize each of our graduates during the worship service, and with a reception afterward in Vickrey Hall.
The Scholarship Committee expresses heartfelt gratitude for your contributions.

Youth Ministry
Building Relationships
Our youth ministry is centered on creating genuine relationships where young people feel seen, heard, and valued. We focus on walking alongside teens as they navigate their faith journeys, offering support, guidance, and space for honest questions rather than relying on programs or schedules. By fostering a community built on trust and presence, we help young people grow in confidence, deepen their spiritual roots, and build meaningful friendships that empower them to live out their faith with courage and authenticity.
weekly gatherings
Youth in grades six through twelve are invited to gather together in the Harris Youth Cottage from 6:15pm to 7:30pm every Wednesday night.
Youth also meet for Sunday School at 9:45am in the Harris Youth Cottage before Worship each Sunday.
The youth department topics vary. We aim to create safe communal space for questions, curiosity, Biblical study, and discussing relevant topics. Often, we will do creative activities to help us reflect on our inner lives and we always have time to share about our lives.
Safety First
All youth department teachers and volunteers are required to submit to a criminal background check and successfully complete comprehensive child-protection training. In addition, all nursery workers are CPR certified.
