Exciting Things to Share - 

Dear friends,

I hope you received my email Wednesday inviting you to attend our church conference on Sunday, September 8, following our worship service. We have lots of exciting things to share, and we want your feedback.

Also, it came to my attention that we have not relayed to you our children and youth ministry coverage while Beth Johnson is on maternity leave. Thanks to our dedicated staff and volunteers, Beth was able to find coverage for all of her responsibilities by dividing her load and sharing it with those who were eager to help. So you are aware, Jan Quesada is covering our children’s ministry curriculum, and our existing volunteers continue to teach children’s Sunday school. Blake Miller is overseeing youth curriculum and Sunday morning teaching. Charlotte Sewell is the point person for youth Wednesday nights, and our Wednesday children’s choir is being led by Brittany Jones, Debi Wooten, and Kay Carpenter. Sarah Vickrey is leading young theologians, and Barrett Wooten has taken on leadership for our Young Disciples Moment.

There are many others who are helping with logistics, but hopefully this gives you a good sense of who is leading in her absence. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to let us know.
