It's a Vibrant Season at Royal Lane! - Dear Royal Lane,

This last weekend we had the great privilege of welcoming award-winning columnist Jonathan Merritt and #1 New York Times bestselling children’s author Matthew Paul Turner to Royal Lane. The weekend was full of events beginning Saturday night with the Stories God Tells Book Tour. I was privileged to be asked to participate and share how preaching relates to the art of storytelling. I must admit, it was a dream to talk about writing and preaching among these gifted authors. Baptist News Global helped sponsor the event, and a write up was done earlier this week. I’m full of energy for all the exciting things happening in the life of our church, including our new Lunch and Learn series which has had over 50 folks each week so far. If you haven’t joined us yet, I hope you'll try and come this Wednesday or participate online. Rev. Ryon Price, Senior Pastor at Broadway Baptist in Fort Worth, will be joining us to discuss the “holy trouble” Broadway causes in Tarrant County.

What a gift it is to be a part of Royal Lane during such a vibrant season. Thanks be to God.
