Sarah Plunk
Sarah currently works as a first-grade teacher at Lone Star Language Academy in
Plano. She will be entering her 7th year as an elementary school teacher in August.
Sarah has worked with children of all ages for much of her life. She has worked at
various elementary schools in Richardson ISD and Plano ISD. She has been a nanny
for several families here in Dallas as well as New York City.
Sarah, having grown up at Wilshire Baptist Church here in Dallas, has volunteered for
Wilshire Baptist Church's children’s ministry helping with various events such as Sunday school, Wednesday nights, Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS), and Vacation Bible School. She was also a Pre-K teacher for Wilshire's early Childhood Learning Center
(ECLC).
Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Furman University in South Carolina. In 2014 she went to The University of Texas at Dallas to earn her teaching certification.
Sarah has been a member of Royal Lane since October 2021. She has been regularly
attending since 2016. In her free time, Sarah loves to explore her White Rock Lake
neighborhood and listen to live music at various venues with her musician partner,
Blake.
