ADVENT BIBLE STUDY - THURSDAYS, DECEMBER 5-19
The Advent Bible Study will be a book study on Malachi. The ancient compilers of the Bible placed Malachi as the last book of the Old Testament because they felt it prepared the way for the Gospels. It is through this lens that we will read Malachi and prepare for the birth of Jesus. This will be a three-week study.
SUNDAY WORSHIP AND Hanging of the Green - December 8
Annual celebration and adorning of the Sanctuary for Advent and Christmas.
POSADA Y PIÑATA (parents night out) - DECEMBER 13
Parents night out, a re-enactment by the children of RLBC of Mary and Joseph's search for lodging in Bethlehem, and the traditional breaking of the Pinata. (childcare provided)
MOURNING LIGHT - DECEMBER 18
There will be opportunities to speak the names of those whom you mourn and remember. A Candle will be lit in their memory and an ornament created to place on the Chrismon Tree.
KRIST-MAS WITH KEN MEDEMA - DECEMBER 21
All are invited to a special Christmas treat with Ken Medema. Ken Medema is a gifted musician who, using a piano and keyboard, creates an experience that is not only interactive but truly unique to each occasion.
