Jeanie Lee Chuang

Organist

Jeanie Lee Chuang earned her Master’s degree in Piano Performance from UCLA. Her love for the organ developed later in life, and she was awarded the Certificate of Colleague by the American Guild of Organists. She has also served as a substitute organist throughout the Dallas metroplex. Earlier in her career, she won the Mozart Festival Concerto Competition and the Beach Cities Symphony Concerto Competition, where she performed as a soloist with the orchestra. She was also an award winner in the California Young Artist Competition.

Jeanie has made meaningful contributions to music education and community outreach. She served on the outreach music faculty at Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in California, and on the piano faculty at both the University of Virginia and Piedmont Virginia Community College. In the Dallas area, she was the music director at the Formosan Christian Church of Dallas and served on the board of Chamber Music International, helping to promote chamber music concerts and educational programs.

Jeanie and her husband, Alex, have two grown children. Alongside her love for the organ and piano, she treasures time with her family and finds deep joy and spiritual grounding here at Royal Lane Baptist Church which has been her spiritual home.
