The Service And The Minister

Royal Lane’s congregation is diverse group of people united in Christ. We are very inclusive with our policy regarding the use of guest ministers. Any guest minister must have been ordained or licensed by an authority. As long as the bride and groom are confident in the guest minister’s ability to legally sign the document of marriage, Royal Lane Baptist Church will be satisfied. However, it is the duty of the bride and groom to establish this fact. One of the Royal Lane ministerial staff is not required to officiate at your ceremony; however, we have ministers in our congregation that will be happy to assist you as your officiant. The only stipulation is that your ceremony be of a Christian nature.

Reception or other announcements are not permitted at the conclusion of the service. If you are printing a program, this is a great way of including reception information (a map or directions to the reception venue is a great idea), a “Thank You,” future address, etc.

Note: Weddings begin promptly at the scheduled time, no exceptions. If, for cultural reason, you expect guests to arrive at a later time, please publish an earlier time for guests. Weddings that begin later than scheduled time will be in danger of losing the amount of the deposit.
