Deposits and Fees

ALL fees are to be made payable to Royal Lane Baptist Church.

Building Damage Deposit $300.00

This fee is refunded via check two (2) weeks after the wedding pending approval by the Wedding Director provided there are no damages which includes any damage to furnishings, situations requiring additional cleaning or additional time expenditures by church employees; and any failure of wedding party and vendors to follow RLBC rules stated in this policy.

DUE FOUR (4) MONTHS PRIOR TO SCHEDULED WEDDING DATE:

Building Usage Fee $1,325.00
Building Usage Fee during Holiday and/or Christmas Season $1,625.00
PLUS
Organist / Keyboardist* $225.00

*due regardless of waiver; if warranted, refund via check two(2) weeks after ceremony

Total:  $1,850 ($2,150 during Holiday Season)

Includes:

  • One (1) hour for rehearsal on the evening prior to wedding.  Four (4) hours for ceremony and related activities on date of ceremony.
  • Wedding Director – (assigned by RLBC approximately 30 days prior to the ceremony date) will assist in the details of the wedding.  The Director will contact the bride and schedule a meeting prior to the wedding to outline the ceremony structure.  The Director will facilitate the rehearsal and the ceremony concerning the processional recessional, seating, ushering and ceremonial details.  The Director will be on campus at all times during the rehearsal and the ceremony.
  • Custodial Attendant – will attend to all building needs, and take care of customary clean up following the ceremony.
  • Sound Technician – will set up all microphone/amplification requirements and run the sound system during the ceremony.
  • Keyboardist (Church Organist/Pianist – See “Musician’s Guidelines”).

Initial payment is due at time of booking $925.00 ($1,075 during holiday season)

Remainder due four (4) months prior to wedding date $925.00 ($1,075 during holiday season)

If neither the organ or piano are used for your ceremony, the amount paid for the keyboardist ($225) will be refunded in the same check as the Building Damage Deposit, if a completed and signed Keyboard Waiver Agreement, copy(ies) of the instrumentalists’ contract(s) are provided and all requirements of the Keyboard Waiver are met.

Family Hall Usage Agreement

FEES DO NOT include:

  • Officiating minister or clergy
  • Musicians other than church organist
  • Outside Wedding Consultant
  • Equipment (candelabras, floral arrangements, etc.)

Cancellations: The initial $775.00 of the $925 fee is non-refundable unless the date can be re-booked to another party.  NO REFUNDS are permitted four months prior to date.
